TERROIR ?
The French word #terroir is a combination of all local factors of winemaking which determine the bouquet and potential of wine before its aging.
There are two opposing opinions: some argue that only a great terroir can give great wines to the world, while others believe that terroir, in principle, does not have a significant effect on the final product.
The Ca’Botta winery thinks we should stick to the golden mean: when creating the wine, we take into account the peculiarities of the terroir, and, of course, we constantly improve our production technologies. We believe that a wonderful wine can only be created on a good vineyard. Without a good, well-groomed, lovingly cultivated vineyard, even the greatest winemaker can fail.
