Classification of European wines, which was introduced in 2012, includes three categories of wines, instead of the traditional four in France and Italy
Wine without geographical indication (formerly “table wine” – Vin de Table)
These wines can have on the label only the name of the country of origin. This category includes blended wines from several EU countries. This is only an indicator of the country of production, but not the country of origin of the raw materials
